What’s best for YOU?

Frankly speaking,
both guided and unguided meditations should be part of your practice! There are many reasons for this. Guided meditations teach you new things. And they bother you too sometimes! Although unguided meditations are really distraction free, you are less likely to learn more!

You can decide with that in mind three criteria.

1 How long have you been practicing meditation?

If you’ve been practicing for a long time, you may already know that you need both types of internships, but if you’re still confused, I think you should do unguided meditations rather than guided meditations.

The only reason is that you are focused enough to be attentive throughout the session. But you can never learn enough in meditation, so you also need to try different meditations through guided meditations.
On the other hand, if you are new to meditation, you should do more guided meditations.
There are two main reasons for this:

You will learn more from guided meditations.

One requires real attention and attention to do unguided meditation for 20 to 30 minutes! But if you are a beginner, do not start with such long sessions, it is also easy to lose interest and start hating meditation if you start like this.
If you are a beginner, this article will help you get started on your meditation journey.

Now how do you know about your meditation experience?

You can answer this by asking yourself how many types of meditations you know. However, it is not enough to know them, you must have practiced them for months!

Also, take a challenge, can you meditate for more than 1 hour in a guided meditation?

Also, consider how long you have been meditating. If the answer is more than a year (daily practice), then I think you should do guided and unguided meditations.

2 Do you enjoy the process or do you enjoy it?

Some people have been meditating for years but still find it hard to sit for more than 20 minutes! Don’t worry, I’m one of them! This is how I started my meditation journey!
People like me they need guided meditation rather than guided meditationnot because we don’t know much about meditation, but because timely reminders to get you back on track they are really helping!
But even if you need constant reminders, you need to do unguided meditationsbecause in order to increase focus from your brain, you have to try harder things!
So people who are able to do unguided meditation without losing focus should increase the length of the session!

3. How much do you sleep !!

It doesn’t sound related to the topic, though sleep plays a very important role in your meditation sessions!
If you have been meditating for a long time, you know that having lack of sleep will only ruin your meditation! You begin to fall asleep, and this drowsiness initiates dreams and stories in your head!
So, if you sleep about 6 hours a day and sleep during the day (the first thing is that you should sleep more!) You need constant reminders to stay focused and alert in meditation! However, it is Absolutely good to get lost in stories, and you are doing the meditation well, if you suddenly realize that you were dreaming and return to the object of focus.

“Drowsiness during meditation leaves you more drowsy after meditation!”

This is one of the best things I’ve ever experienced!
So how do you approach it and what kind of meditation should you do! This is obvious guided meditations are better (though not the best) in this scenario. The reason is that you receive constant calls to stay on track!
So now you know, ‘Guided and Unguided Meditations: What’s Best for You?’
And the The best way to program is to experiment, there is no perfect schedule to follow, there are there are no set guidelines which must be followed to do the meditation “correctly.” Because while you try to meditate, you are on the right track! It is good to sleep after meditation. It’s absolutely okay to miss a day! But don’t be discouraged if you can’t concentrate or if you suddenly fall asleep during a session!

If you have any questions about meditation, just throw them in the comments section and I will answer them in the series of frequently asked questions!
