Five Reasons to Get a Yoga Certification in San Diego

To better understand postures and alignment.

In our training program, we break down a variety of different types of postures. We talk about alignment, modifications, and variations. The anatomy is woven throughout the program so you can apply it as you learn it. Focus on what the body does in yoga postures and why we do them. From the pros to the adjustments, the breakdown of posture will shed light on many things that once seemed mysterious.

Get to know the philosophy of yoga.

The philosophy of yoga is broad and cannot be comprehensively covered in a 200-hour program. The Buddhi Yoga Teacher Training Program focuses on the 8 limbs of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras. With a firm understanding of these principles, you will have an excellent philosophical foundation.

Develop strong personal practice.

One of the best conclusions about teacher training is learning to practice on your own. Group classes with a good teacher will always have value. Hopefully you are always in an area with a yoga studio that you enjoy going to. However, a daily personal practice in the tranquility of your own space is a tremendous gift to give away. Many people do not know how to start an internship at home. Buddhi Yoga teacher training strongly encourages personal practice and provides guidance on how to create one.

Raise awareness of the energy body.

If you have been practicing yoga long enough, you are aware of the energy flowing through us. Western medicine, religion, and culture do not emphasize or believe in the energy system. However, many Eastern and indigenous belief systems do. For yogis, the existence of our subtle anatomy is undeniable because it can be felt tangibly through breathing, asanas, and other techniques. In Buddhi Yoga teacher training, learners are introduced to the chakra system through lectures, kundalini yoga, and other experimental exercises.

Become a yoga teacher.

Oh yes, and last but not least! A 200-hour yoga teacher training will introduce the basic and essential skills needed to teach a yoga class. Buddhi Yoga Teacher Training is a vinyasa-based program. In the end, students can teach a 75-minute class for all levels. When students devote time and effort throughout the training, the results always surprise them. What at first seems very difficult and difficult to dodge is very clear. This is really just the beginning and graduates have a lot of practice to do, but they have acquired an exciting new skill that is very valuable to share with others.
