The program is led by Cathy Valentine, a 200-hour certified yogi with more than 15 years of teaching experience. He has often referred to his style as a mixture of skill and spirit, as each of his classes combines the physical challenge of yoga asanas with a spiritual morning, creating what has been called a “seductive” experience. . His love of Eastern philosophy, spirituality, and an understanding of anatomy are skillfully intertwined in his teachings. By combining these skills with the ancient teachings of yoga, Cathy’s goal is to encourage her students to find information and answers to life’s deepest questions, creating transformation and liberation.

This 200-hour Hatha Vinyasa teacher training program is certified by the Yoga Alliance (RYS 200). It is a complete and progressive learning experience that deepens the student’s knowledge and builds a solid foundation for a yoga teacher working in each of the following fields of study:

~ anatomy and philosophy
~ asanas and sequencing
~ teaching methodology
~ pranayama and meditation
~ energy
~ History and philosophy
~ Sanskrit terminology
~ ethics and the business of yoga

In this training, you will learn to create a class sequence and teach asanas with skill. You will be ready to develop safe and sensible yoga classes for all levels of proficiency. You will learn to accurately observe students’ bodies and help them perform optimally aligned asanas through the use of words, basic practical adjustments, modifications, and the use of accessories.

This training can be done to deepen your own knowledge of yoga, with or without the intention of ever teaching. Either way, the training and practice schedule requires students to fully immerse themselves in yoga. It takes a sincere interest and a willingness to study hard. It is recommended to practice regular yoga for at least one year before this training
