An evening meditation to establish intentions

When you go from a waking state to a sleep state, there is a very short time in between when your mind is going from conscious to unconscious. Normally, you cannot directly influence your subconscious when you are awake, but right now, the subconscious mind is more present and accessible than it usually is. In this short time, you can get a direct line to your subconscious, allowing it to absorb the seeds of the thought you are planting without being judged by the conscious mind. Therefore, the time before falling asleep is a good time to establish intentions, whether large, small, realistic, or strange.

In this meditation, I will guide you through the process of taking advantage of this unique moment and establishing intentions that can help you change your life for the better. Before you start meditating, it is a good idea to think about what kind of intention you want to establish. You can use this technique to improve any aspect of your life, whether material, physical or emotional. You can even try to sleep better! The only requirement is that you define your intention very clearly in the present tense, then meditate and follow the steps described.

For best results, the intention itself should be short and sweet: just a few words or a quick phrase. Something like “I always sleep well” or “I pray for healthy decisions.” Although you can set different intentions on different days, I would recommend staying with it for 28 days, as this is the duration of the natural human cycle: habits, menstrual cycle and more. Once you have expressed an intention, you can move on to the next one, using this powerful natural tool to make your dreams come true.
